It’s Community Club Awareness Week! Shining a light on the work clubs do to benefit the local communities they serve. Like Clubs Queensland we believe strong clubs build better communities and at Trinity Beach Sports Club – we love to give back! This year (up to the end of August), we have been able to donate at total of $47,701.25 to local community groups! For the month of July, our Friday Community Raffles will be fundraising for FNQ Relay For Life! Relay is a fun and moving experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, and support services. It’s a chance for the community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, those going through a cancer experience and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost and to raise money to help save more lives. We were so proud to be able to present this cheque for $2,687 to Friends of Bush Pups from our May Community Raffles! We have now raised almost 25k for charity just this year. Thank you for your support of our raffle nights, we wouldn’t be able to donate these funds without you!
Every Friday at Trinity Beach Sports Club, we have our famous Friday Community Raffles. We choose a new charity to support each month, and the community always comes out in full force to support. With new prizes up for grabs each week; including meat, seafood & veg trays, camping gear, alcohol, and whatever is on sale at the Good Guys that week. Raffle ticket sales kick off from 6pm with draws from 7pm.
